BEASTIES AND SAILORMOON SAILORSTARS PRESENTS : THE MAXIMAL AT HAND PROLOGUE 1500 Years ago.... “Status report.” “We have reconstructed the superstructure and charged up seventy-five percent of the energy resovoirs. But we haven’t achieved the reanimation process yet.” Queen Serenity, ruler of the Moon Kingdom and one of the most loved people in the Silver Millenium, was currently frowning in dismay. Her archeological people had dug up this robot in the northern region of the Earth and she had set them to try and reanimate it if possible with Sailor Mercury’s help. With tentions running this high in the Kingdom, coupled with the increasing youma attacks, people could start to get nervous. Two weeks later.... “Shabon Spray Freeze!!” A wave of freezing energy lanced out towards a errant youma, turning it to a standing popsicle. Jupiter fought to Mercury’s back. “Sparkling White Hot Pressure!!!” Balls of high voltage electricity flew out from her storm of oak leaves. Several struck charging youmas but one... “Jupiter! Cancel the attack!!! It’s heading towards the lab!!!” Jupiter held out a hand but a swipe form a halbard cut into her wrist. “Augh!!!” She fell to the ground, clutching her wrist which was seeping crimson from under her white glove. Meanwhile, the ball of energy hadn’t hit anything yet. Flying at great speeds, it flew through the labs broken windows, and smashed into the robot. A massive energy discharge energized the robot. Its fingers moved, clenched into a fist, and the eyes lit up...just in time to feel a pulse of pure white energy. Rhinox, Science Officer of the Axalon, stirred from under his pile of rubble. He stod, nursing a throbbing in his head circutry. “Oh, my head. Feels like I got hit by an Energon lightning bolt.” He then looked around. “What in the...? Where am I?” The last thing he remembered, was emerging from a transwarp conduit, and proptly getting hit by a passing comet. Spinning around while carreming towards earth, he ejected a beacon for Cybertron to find. Falling...falling...falling...and then...landing into the ground nose first, crashing into a pile of Energon. And then..the sheer pain of Energon warping. The power bit into his systems until he blacked out. And then...blackness...offline. Or so he thought. Queen Serenity coughed as her strength ebbed away. To her side, her advisors to the court, Luna and Artemis, and beyond, Sailor Pluto, the Senshi of Time, stood, awaiting her last commands. She took a raspy breath and spoke. “Luna, Artemis, Pluto, I would like you to wait for my daughter and her court. I have sent all the people of the moon to Earth to be reincarnated at a later time. Will you do that for me?” “Hai. We will.” Pluto said. Serenity smiled but then heard a mechanical thumping. She lifted her head, and to her amazement, the robot was up and running to her. It stopped and looked at her, a questionable look on its face. The facial expressions twisted to reveal sadness as it turned its head away, a small tear falling down his face. Obviously, it had seen more dying people than it wanted to, Queen Serenity surmized through her weaning vision. “Who are you?” She asked. “I’m Rhinox. What has happened here?” he asked softly while it looked around at the mass devistation. “An evil force has attacked and devestated the Moon Kingdom. I do not have much time, so I would like to ask you a question. What are you?” “I am a Maximal. My people will wage war on Earth’s surface in the future. Or at least, I think I’m in the past.” “You are. I ask of you a request : Will you help my daughter when she needs it in her new life?” Rhinox thought for a second. ‘Do I want to really do this?’ Then he thought about what Optimus would have done. ‘Optimus would have honored her request if he were in my place.’ He turned to face her and knelt to her level. “I would be honored.” Serenity smiled. “Then go and take the capsule in the Lab. It will be programmed by Pluto to wake you in their time of need.” “Thank you.” With that, Serenity glowed and joined the people in the sky, her Advisors following in the cold sleep capsule, and Rhinox and Pluto looking on, Rhinox saluting in admiration for the Queen he just met. “I hope you know that you’re taking a gigantic risk. If this isn’t keyed properly then you may never reawaken to help.” Rhinox grunted as he looked at the Senshi of Time. “I promiced Queen Serenity on my honor as a Maximal. I won’t dissapoint her.” Setsuna sighed. “Fine. I’m setting the pod to awake you when the Senshi are in need. Say...1998?” “1998? The Great War will have started in the United States already. But... okay. If that’s when I’ll be needed, then so let it be.” “Trust me. I have a bit of information about that time period. See you in 1500 years.” “Take care Pluto.” “Same to you Rhinox.” The Pod hissed shut, sealing itself for the centuries of work it would need to do to maintain the Maximal inside. With a hiss, the roof of the Lab opened, moving the Pod into position. With a blast of rockets, the Pod soared off into the blue-green sphere of Earth. To the future. To the new coming. CHAPTER 1 In a deep cave in the mountians of Japan, a insistant beeping started up a mechanical process. “Pod latches opening, beginning reawakening sequence.” A hiss of escaping air echoed in a deep cave in the mountians of Japan. Mechanical sounds started to fill the cave as the figure sat up. In the buisness district of Juuban, Usagi, Ami, Rei, Minako and Makoto sat in Crown’s, sipping sodas and listening to Usagi’s ranting about her Mamo-chan being away in Germany for a while. Actually, Ami was the only one listening in the room while the others were placidly drinking. Rei, on the other hand, was constantly shooting down Usagi’s ideas for chasing after Mamoru before she cracked herself. “Usagi,” Ami started, “don’t get upset. He’s only going to be away for a few weeks.” Usagi, didn’t pay any attention to this and kept on ranting and raving. “Shut up Usagi, you’re going to give me a headache.” Rei muttered under her breath. A beeping from her communicator alerted Rei. She flipped it open to reveal Seiya. “Rei, are the other girls there?” He asked. “Yeah. Wait, what’s the trouble?” “There’s a monster in the district. Near the park.” Rei grunted. “Seems like a favorite place for monster attacks.” “Yeah well, Taiki, Yaten and I will try to intercept it to stall some time.” “Right. Rei out.” Rei then quickly explained the situation to the girls and they all left Crown’s. A Rhino calmly walked down the street, sticking to the darker alleys where it could fit. Searching around, its eyes zoomed in on a section of the park where energy discharges were making themselves present. ‘Uh oh. I’d better investigate.’ He ran towards the energy flashes, feet thumping on the ground, making small cracks in the cement. “Mars...Flame Sniper!!!” A fire arrow lanced out of the stretched bow of fire energy towards the monster. It howled in pain as the energy exploded in its face, blinding its single eye. Uranus ran up, lighting up her Space Sword. “Crystal Attack!” A vicious slice from the sword ripped open the chest and sent the monster howling in agony. “Now Eternal Sailor Moon!” Uranus yelled. “Hai!” Sailor Moon summoned her Pegasus Staff since this was not a Sailor Farce, and her current attack was not really effective against monsters which was not a human in disguise. “Moon Georgeous Meditation!!!” A flash of a ribbon-like energy lanced out from the staff, incenerating the youma. It howled as it crumbled to dust. The Senshi sighed in relief. A ways away, a Rhino watched with a small smile on its face. “Some battle, eh Sailor Moon?” Jupiter asked her, a faint smile on her face which was flushed from the battle. “Yeah. But...what the...” a rumble echoed over the ground followed by a violent shaking of the ground, knocking most of the senshi to the ground. “The ground! It’s trembling!!! Earthquake!!!” Raye yelled as she tumbled to the ground with a painful bump. All of the Senshi stumbled to their feet and leapt to the top of a building as the ground split open in small cracks. The Rhino grunted and ran to the other side of the clearing, to get away from the cracks. Then, suddenly, the ground opened up wide and a large metal pod, about 8 to 10 feet long popped out of the ground. The Rhino gasped. “A stasis pod!!!” Rhinox ran over to the pod, grasping it with his teeth to pull it out. Just then, the earthquake stopped and the Senshi leapt down to the ground. Ami was puzzled. “What’s a Rhino doing here?” “I don’t know. It must have escaped from the Zoo.” “I guess. Hey, what’s that it’s trying to pull out of the ground?” Mercury ran over to it, scanning the object with her computer. “It’s a metallic pod of sorts. The pod is about ten feet long at its tallest axis and the widest at five feet.” She turned to the other senshi. “Lets get this back to Rei’s temple.” Usagi turned to the Rhino who was looking at her questioningly. “Go home Rhino. Go on, shoo.” The Rhino turned away, albet reluctantly. Usagi turned around to help her costumed Senshi carry the pod away with all their combined strength. “What’s the progress Ami-chan?” Usagi asked while chewing on a cookie. Ami sighed, her face covered in grease. “Well, I never seen this type of technology before and coupled with its sheer size, well...it’ll take me a few hours to even try to activate it.” “Oh. Hey, what’s this button do?” Usagi pressed a red button on the control panel. The pod roared to life, the computer panel opening up from the tube-like area. Usagi and Ami jumped back in fright. Script started to scroll down the screen, showing diagrams of the inside and ending with a symbol not unlike a fox’s face. “Cool.” Rhinox snuck in the backyard towards the tarpulin covered object in the courtyard. ‘If I can get the stasis pod up and running, I can get the Protoform Maximal up and Bioformed in less than a few cycles.’ He silently walked over to the tarp and pulled it away with his teeth. “Rhinox, Maximize. Stealth running mode.” He gave out a low roar and changed to his green and tan humaniod mode. Cracking his knuckles, he pressed the red button and started to type. Rei awoke to a sound coming from the backyard. She propped herself on her shoulders and looked out the window. She gasped as a large figure was working on the pod she and the others had recovered. leaping out of bed, she grabbed her robe and a baseball bat. “Almost there. Just have to open the pod.” He pressed a sequence of three buttons and the pod hissed open. His proverbial heart leapt into his throat. The Protoform was still operational! The spark was still running! “Yes! Computer, run DNA Scan now.” “Complying.” A small tower unfolded from the tube. “A few more cycles and then...” “Hold it!!! What are you doing?! Get away from there!” a feminine voice yelled from the door. Rhinox spun around and held up his hands. Rei flipped on a light on the intruder, expecting to see a large human. What she did see however, was a large robot holding his hands up in protest. “Please, don’t come any closer. I have to work on the Protoform.” It pleaded. Rei blinked. “What..who are you?” “I don’t have time to explain. I have to run the DNA Sequence now.” Rei lowered her guard a bit. “All right but now funny stuff,” she growled. “Computer, Run DNA Scan. List possible beast forms.” A list of the lifeforms around the area were scrolled on the screen. Rhinox’s eyes lit upon a form. “Perfect. Computer, stop. Use form in DNA scan.” “Acknowlaged.” The DNA Rod flickered to life, emitting a circular wave of light, scanning the form Rhinox chose. A bright light shone from the Protoform Maximal, emmitting mist and light. Rei shielded her eyes from the light as a large Raven stepped out of the pod. It spoke in a throaty female voice. “Windchaser, Maximize!!!” The Raven changed, arms unfolding from the front, talons forming legs, a face appearing from the chest area and the wings folding in the back. Silver and Black feathers adorned the wings as did the body. “I am Windchaser. You must be Rhinox. Thank you.” She smiled and Rhinox smiled back. Rei gaped in astonishment. “Ano...mind telling me what the hell just happened?” she demanded. Rhinox scratched his head. “Well it’s like this...” CHAPTER 2 “So...lets see. You are a Transformer called Rhinox who came here over 60,000,000 years ago, chasing a renegade Predacon ship, the decendants of the Decepticons who are warring right now over in the United States, for the control of Cybertron and the Universe. Am I correct so far?” Rei asked. “You are correct.” Rhinox confirmed. “And then, you came back here in 60,000,012 BC to check on the status of the Ark which holds the famous Optimus Prime and proptly got nailed by a passing comet which sent you back down into the surface, carreming into a pile of Energon which somehow preserved your spark from deterioritating.” “Yes.” “I see. Maybe now I can see some truth in your suggestion since the Transformers are brodcasted on the news every day.” “I’m glad you understand.” Rhinox nodded while sipping a can of hot oil. Rei threw up her hands in mock disgust. “Well, you can stay in here for a while. My Grandfather and Yuurichio are gone for the week.” Windchaser smiled. “Thanks. Uncle Rhinox and I can stay in here for a while. Beast Mode.” Windchaser reverted to her Raven form while Rhinox did the same, turning into a tan Rhino. Rhinox yawned loudly. “Well, g’night.” He settled down into a sleeping position and fell asleep instantly. Windchaser did the same, nuzzling her beak in her left wing. Rei stood and turned off the light, pausing to look at the sleeping pair with a playful smile on her face. Somehow, all this made sense. A small nagging in the back of her head told her that she had seen him somewhere before. Somewhere...a long time ago. Rhinox yawned and stretched out his short legs. To his side, Windchaser yawned and peeked out from under her black wing. “Morning Uncle.” “Morning Windchaser. You hungry?” Windchaser shrugged a bird shrug. “Maybe. I’ll go and catch something to eat.” “Ah, don’t bother. I’ll raid the food in here.” Rhinox transformed and cracked his neck to the right. He exhaled and walked into the kitchen where Rei was preparing her lunch. Rei looked up, a hint of surprise and a bit of offhanded disbelief at having a robot from the future about 5000 years in her home displayed in her facial expressions. “Morning Rhinox. How was last night?” Rhinox smiled and opened the refrigerator, raiding the vegetables bin. “Good. The rest was needed after a day of walking. Mind if Windchaser and I eat?” Rei arched an eyebrow in surprise. “You eat?” “Of course we eat. Not that often mind you but its a way to keep my energy levels up without trying to find some Energon in this place.” “Um...how common was Energon back in 60 million BC?” “Common. When we first crashed, we couldn’t go two feet without stepping in Energon. That’s why we merged our DNA with DNA of the common lifeforms to protect ourselves from Energon buildup.” “And this Energon is what the Transformers are trying to gather to send or prevent from getting to Cybertron?” “Pretty much.” Rhinox took a large bite of several sticks of celery. Rei and Rhinox sat in the kitchen, a chair precariously bending to support his bulk. A few minutes later, Windchaser joined them, sitting down to munch on a apple, following up by a glass of orange juice. The three munched in silence for a few minutes until Rei noticed the time. “Oh no. I’m going to be late for school.” “Where do you go to school at?” Windchaser asked. “The catholic school on sixty-third street.” “I can get you there in two minutes.” “Thanks. I think.” A few minutes later, Rei soared off on Windchasers back towards the Catholic school. Rei hopped off Windchasers back in the bushes of the school. She felt incredible. Flying on a back of a Maximal, the wind in her face, her hair whipping around in strands and her stomach making loops as they dived every so often from 100 feet up. A foolish smile laced with mischevious intent, she walked into class. “How’d the improptou flying lesson go?” Rhinox asked, his face stuck in a history book he had found while sitting on the couch. Windchaser beamed with happiness. “It was great! I was able to use my wings for the first time in who knows how long!” Rhinox peeked over the top of the book, a metallic eyebrow raised. “You were just Bioformed last night you know.” Windchaser shrugged her shoulders and headed into the kitchen. “I’m gonna get something to eat. Want anything?” “A pear and a couple of carrots if you don’t mind.” She emerged a moment later, the food in her right hand and a glass of water in the left. She drank the water while handing her uncle the food he asked for. She sat in the chair, crossing her legs. She breathed deeply as she leaned back in the reclining chair. “You know, I don’t think any Transformer, Maximal, Predicon, Autobot or Decepticon have had this kind of luxury.” Rhinox nodded from behind his book. “You’re right. But you know, if I found you, then there’s a chance there might be more Protoforms in this world.” Windchaser looked up in realization. “You’re right Uncle! Can we find them?” Rhinox propped his head on his hands in thought. A silence prevayed over the room. “Well...” he started slowly, “maybe...if I change the scanning system to find the pods energy signiture, then maybe we can find them before someone else does.” “Who do you mean, ‘someone else’?” Whindchaser qustioned. “Well the government might just love to get their hands on Transformer technology. Not all of them support the Great War. Especially the warring factors. And besides, the technology is far more advanced than the original ones.” He stood. “I can rework the scanning system now.” Rhinox thumped out of the room towards the back courtyard. Usagi yawned deeply. Behind her, Seiya yawned equally loud. Both had a restless night after the question of what the heck was that machine they recovered last night. Usagi fell asleep...and a chalkboard eraser flew at her head with the precision of a softball player, impacting on Usagi’s head, waking her. “Usagi! Stand in the hall!” A second later saw Usagi standing in the hall, a pair of water-filled pails held by each hand. Lunch held a group of girls under a cherry tree, eating lunch with the Three Lights on the other side of the tree. The scene was usual with Usagi stuffing her face and the others eating normally. A beeping at Ami’s communicator brought Ami’s attention to it. “Ami here. Oh, hi Rei. What’s going on?” “Um...well, is there going to be a meeting at the temple tonight?” Rei asked, sounding a bit nervous. “Yeah, there is. Why, is there something going on?” Ami probed. Rei stammered a bit. “Uh...not really but...is ther a way to change the location of the meeting?” Ami stared at the Senshi of Mars. “You know that this is the weekend that we’re sleeping over at the temple.” “Oh, yeah. Well, see you tomorrow.” With that, she disengaged the communication link. “Almost...there! The scanning system is finished. Now to set the scanner up.” He pressed a sequence and the modified Bioscanner moved out of the tube. A male mechanical voice resounded over the courtyard. “Beginnning scan for Stasis Pods.” Rhinox sighed in contentment. “Well, it’ll take a few minutes to scan for the Stasis Pods in the range of the scaning system.” A door opened and Rei stepped out the back door. “Hey guys. What’s going on?” Windchaser looked up. “Oh, we’re looking for more Stasis Pods that may be around here. Uncle Rhinox has set up the scanning program ot key for the Pods.” “Really. So...you might be able to find more of your kind?” “Exactly.” “Oh. Um...I have some friends over for a sleepover in the Temple tonight and I was wondering if you would be able to keep in the shadows until I can find a way to explain your presence to them?” Rhinox smiled and nodded. “Sure. No problem. Anyways, we have to find those girls who recovered Windchaser. Who were they anyways?” “Girls? What did they look like?” “Twelve girls, three of them wearing leather sailor suits and the others wearing accented sailor suits.” “The Sailor Senshi. They are the local guardians of this place.” “Explains why there was a lot of destruction in the park. Briefly considered jumping in with my chain guns.” “...” Rei was speechless. She recovered quickly. “Um...have you found any more Stasis Pods?” Rhinox turned his attention to the Cybertronian script and scanned it. “The computer has found two in the vincinity of this city. Um...somewhere in a district in the south of the city...um...Nerima is the name and one up near the mountians under a training shrine.” Rei sighed in exasperation. “Nothings easy. Um...I might want to brief you on Nerima. There are wierd things happening there which rival Tromboki its neighbor, and people there have a tendancy to be cursed.” “Cursed?” Windchaser asked, confused. “Yeah. About five regulars of the area are cursed to become the opposite sex or an animal. And then there’s a whole load of fighting done in the area.” “Anything about the training shrine?” “I don’t know very much about the area except its near the Masaki Shrine. Makoko, one of my friends, is the cousin of the teenager living up there.” Rhinox nodded slowly. “Well then, maybe then I’ll take the district and Windchaser can take the Shrine.” Rei looked at her watch. “Well, if you want to be gone by the time my friends get here, then you should go now.” “I guess you’re right. Lets go.” Windchaser gave Rei a exuberant hug and hopped out the door, changing back to her Beast Mode. The pair stepped outside, and Windchaser took off as with Rhinox walking behind in Beast Mode as well. CHAPTER 3 “I guess this is it.” Rhinox looked around the area, a radar attatched to his front left leg. The place seemed calm enough but sadly, that didn’t last. Rhinox’s ears perked up as he heard the stampede of the usual mob running after a chinese clothed, black haired guy who was going, by Rhinox’s measurements, about sixty miles per hour. Behind him was a pig, cat, a guy who seemed intent on shaving the guy bald, a girl with the biggest mallet this side of creation, a girl with a giant cooking utensil on her back, a guy with incredibly thick glasses and ten swords protruding from his sleeves in fan like patterns and a guy with a wooden sword. In short, just another day at Nerima. “I guess that defines things as wierd.” He trodded down the road, following the signal. He came to the foot of a wall with a heavy oak door in the front. The door, however, was splintered as if something heavy crashed through it. All along the wall, person shaped holes in the wall pattered it as if this happened daily. Rhinox raised an eyebrow in faciantion. “Bingo.” Genma-Panda slapped down a white piece in return. Nadoka and Kasumi were cooking supper when a rapping at the door was heard. “I’ll get it.” Kasumi wiped her hands on the towel and left for the door. When she returned, a large tan Rhino was following behind her. “Ojisama, have you done something we haven’t known about?” Genma-Panda looked up and held up a sign. [Nope. What’s with the Rhino?] “Well,” Kasumi started slowly, “It was knocking at the door. Do you think it’s another Jusenkyo cursed person?” [Get the hot water.] Of course, Rhinox can’t read Japanese but can speak it. He watched as the girl dissapeared into the kitchen and reemerged with a kettle of hot water. She poured the water over his head and instantly dropped it in shock. “Ojisama, I don’t think this is a Jusenkyo cursed person.” “You got that right.” Rhinox muttered out loud. Genma-Panda and Soun looked at the Rhino and fainted. Nadoka blinked in surprise. “You can talk?” Nadoka asked. “Yes. I suppose I should take on a form better for this. Rhinox, Maximize!” He roared loudly and flipped back, his form shifting to a humanoid. “Oh my.” “What are you?” Nadoka asked. “I am a Maximal. My name is Rhinox. May I ask if you ever come across a large metal Pod?” “Metal Pod? Oh, you must mean the family heirloom in the basement.” “Where it it?” “The door over there. Take it and the metal thing is under a sheet.” Kasumi said, pointing to the door. “Thanks.” “Good. The Protoform is still operational. Now to Bioform it. Computer, access the DNA Sequencing program. Search for lifeforms.” “Searching.” Nadoka, Kasumi, and Nabiki looked on in interest. Soun and the Panda were still out of the picture. The scanner moved up out of the tube and started to blink. A yellow light spread around the area, scanning in a 360 degree arc. It then refolded back into the tube. Ranma and Akane just then walked inside the Dojo. “Hey ever....what the heck is that!” Ranma yelled in surprise. “Shh...don’t bother Mr. Rhinox. He’s reactivating a friend.” Ranma and Akane joined the pair, watching in rapt attention and being filled in on what Rhinox was. “Bio scan complete. Choosing a form on activators discression.” The list of forms moved down the screen. “Stop. Use form on screen. Activate.” A mist formed as the Bio duplication started up. A whine came from the open hatch came up as a large white and grey Transmetal Cat came out of the Stasis Pod. Ranma screamed in fright and hid behind Akane. Everyone sighed as Ranma cowered. The cat nodded at Rhinox. “Tragerous, Maximize!!!” He stood up on his hind legs, his legs extending and his arms extending from his body. Ranma then came out of hiding. “Whoa...cool.” “Welcome Tragerous. I am Rhinox.” Tragerous smiled a cat like grin. “Hi Rhinox. Um...where’s the rest of the group?” Rhinox sighed. “I’ll fill you in while we head back to the Temple.” Rhinox then turned to the Dojo Residents. “Do you have a rope so we can carry the Pod?” “Sure. There’s one in the basement. I’ll get it.” Ranma stood up and headed down the stairs. He reemerged with a rope and harness. “Will these do?” “Yeah, they’ll do. Thanks for your hospitality. Beast Mode.” Rhinox reverted to his Beast form and Tragerous strapped the Pod behind the Rhino. They walked off, dragging the floating Stasis Pod behing themselves. The Nerima residents stared after the pair of Transformers in awe. “Now that...defined wierd.” Ranma commented. “Considering the place we live in, that is wierd. And I thought that the Transformers were larger.” Akane noted. “Maybe they are being developed to be smaller.” “I guess...” Soaring over the tops of the trees, Windchaser neared the Masaki shrine. With a flap of her wings, she soared over the top of the Shrine. “Hmm...looks peaceful enough. Better check it out.” She dived down to the ground, landing softly. Folding up her wings, she walked over to the door. Leaning over, she rapped the door with her beak. A young girl, about twelve years old, her blue-white hair tied in long braids in the back of her head. Peering down, she raised both eyebrows together in an expression of surprise. “Now what are you doing here? I don’t have any food for you.” Whindchaser sighed. “I’m not a normal Raven actually.” Sasami blinked. “Are you a magical animal?” “Not really. I come from a planet in another system called Cybertron. Me and my uncle have detected a Stasis Pod in this Shrine.” “Cyberton? I’ve heard of it. A race of intelligant robots who populate the planet with several hundred others with nutural planets in the area. As I understand it from the Americian News, the Autobots are warring with the Decepticons in the United States. Am I right?” “Pretty much.” “So which faction are you from?” “Neither. I’m a decendant from about 2000 years into the future. I am a Maximal. Here, stand back. Windchaser, Maximize!!!” She gave out a long caw and her body unfolded from the front, her wings retracting to her back. A tall, silver and black robot stood in front of the small Jurian princess. She made an low bow. “I am Windchaser.” Sasami smiled. “Will you come in? Perhaps Grandfather Yoshu can find this Stasis Pod for you.” “Thanks.” Yoshu nodded slowly. “I remember the Autobots from 150 years ago. On a diplomatic mission, myself and my wife came to Cybertron to negociate peace treaties. Unfortunately, the area was still in chaos so we were forced to wait for the Autobots leader, Optimus Prime.” “Unfortuantely, Optimus Prime and the rest were not seen for over 60,000,000 years.” “That is because the Ark was sent to Earth for finding new energy sources to help the survival of Cybertron. They were brought back out of Stasis Lock in 1987. If you want, uncle Rhinox and I can contact the Autobots for Jurai.” Ayeka leaned foward in expectancy. “Really? Is that possible?” Windchaser nodded. “But there comes a high risk factor. If Megatron discovers our existance before we really come into documented being, then...we could be looking on a war to recover the left over Stasis Pods before we do.” Yoshu grunted. “It’s possible. But we could do it personally.” Everyone looked at him. “We could take Ryo-Ohki and fly down to the Ark, repersenting Jurai.” “Possible. But for now, I came to see if I can recover our Stasis Pod, and hope it wouldn’t be corrupted into a Predicon by some freak accedent.” Washuu stood. “I’ll start scanning for the Pod signiture now.” Seven minutes later... “Found it. It’s under the rock in the backyard training area.” “Thanks. I’ll go and remove the Pod.” Windchaser stood. Ryoko stood as well. “I’ll help.” “Thanks.” “DNA sequencing activated. Scanning for lifeforms.” “Stop. Use displayed lifeform.” Washu leaned back on her toes as she watched over Windchaser’s shoulder. After the mist cleared, they peeked into the Pod. Suddenly, they burst out laughing, doubling over in hilarity. “What’s so funny mom?” “Look at this!” Washu reached in and pulled out a Cabbit. It let off a high pitched meow and Ryo-Ohki meowed in responce. The Cabbit hopped off of Washu’s hands and spoke in a teenaged voice. “Rni-Ohki, Maximize!” The ears flipped back as the body unfolded from the furry exterior. A teenaged brown and white Maximal with a set of laid back ears, green eyes and a crystal in the forehead stood. Ryo-Ohki screamed a bunny scream and hid behind Sasami. Everyone started laughing again. “Hihi! I’m Rni-Ohki. I took my name from Ryo-Ohki.” “I’m Windchaser. And I guess I’m your mother of sorts of maybe an aunt.” “I think mom would fit nicely. Where are the others?” “Uncle Rhinox is recovering another stasis pod in Nerima.” Windchaser turned to the Jurain family. “Well, thank you for all you’re help. Rni-Ohki and I can go now.” “Thank you for dropping by. I hope you’ll get back to Cybertron soon!” Tenchi waved at the departing Maximal as she flew off with Rni-ohki on her back.
